About us

Caroline Davison Nutrition

I have worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years, the majority which have been spent in oncology and end of life care. I have an excellent understanding of how the human body works, the shift from health to ill health and how our bodies function synergistically. This experience has enabled me to understand how fragile life can be. Nutritional therapy has further enabled me to see how we can optimise our health by tweaking a few elements in our nutrition and lifestyles. I genuinely love working with people and I would love to support you. Outside of work, I am married and am a busy mum of two young children – with a family pooch to add to the mix! Combining the concept and approach of nourishing and balancing nutrition and lifestyle for my family and me has been transformational.  I would love to help by sharing my knowledge with you.

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy takes a 360-degree holistic approach to health, which means I look at a person’s entire lifestyle, including their diet, exercise habits, stress levels, and sleep quality to identify the root cause of their symptoms and how that needs addressing. I will assess your unique needs during an initial consultation.

I will create a personalised nutritional and lifestyle plan that we will work through together to help you achieve your health goals and have you feeling your best again.

One of the primary benefits of nutritional therapy is that it focuses on using food to support health. This means that I will be encouraging you to eat a nutrient-dense diet made up of whole foods and not restricting or cutting out food groups. The body has an amazing way of healing itself when fuelled efficiently, given the right nutrients. Such a diet can help to reduce inflammation, improve digestion, provide energy and support hormonal balance.

How it Works

  • Once a booking has been made for a nutrition package, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out, along with a food diary, prior to the consultation.
  • During the online consultation, a comprehensive medical history and family history will be taken, along with personal information about your diet and lifestyle and current health concerns. This will usually take around 90 minutes.
  • After the consultation, a personalised plan will be created using evidence-based nutritional science. This will include dietary and lifestyle recommendations, along with safe supplement suggestions.
  • Follow-up appointments will be scheduled to monitor progress in accordance with the package you choose, and I will adjust the plan as needed.
  • You can learn about different nutrition packages and programmes, and which one suits your needs, by looking at the programmes below or giving me a call. I would be happy to guide you to the most appropriate programme for your circumstances.
